You can do this search online, bridal magazines and directories. You will find that online sites will give you the best indication of whether you like their style. Ask for recent examples of their work and testimonials.
It is important to consider high quality production as you cannot recreate your wedding day. High prices does not necessarily mean the best and some operators have high end equipment but just ‘shoot and dump’ with no creativity and video editing skills. Avoid low quality and cheap productions which produces just as good a job as anyone else could on your own video camcorder! Somewhere in the middle is ideal as you will be happier with value-for-money service and outcome.

Turnaround time
There is nothing more frustrating than waiting for your wedding video and as you would like to recapture the day with family and friends. It is normal to wait up to 12 weeks for editing purposes.

I have met people in the industry that charge top dollar and have the best equipment. The problem is, they have NO IDEA on how to use it. The same is said for the budget shooters that shoot for below $1000; they are mostly shoot-and-dump. No professional editing skills and creativity. You will have a watered down wedding video, and it will show in your wedding video. Check the high-end prices with the low-ball prices. The average costs should be somewhere in between.
STEP 3
Ask questions. Put the same effort into finding a great videographer that you did in finding your photographer. Make some calls and speak personally with your potential videographer. True professionals are passionate about their work and would be to glad to share and answer all your questions. STEP 4
Check how long you will have to wait for your wedding video after your wedding day. Our studio prides itself in our delivery time and this will all be covered in our standard terms and conditions. This is a good indicator of how busy your videographer can be. We have a standard delivery time of between 8 weeks and 12 weeks. Main reason is we put almost a week of editing into each wedding video. We do deliver sometimes within 4 weeks from your honeymoon, or a few weeks later. This also depends what type of package you have booked with us.

View recent work of the specific videographer that would be shooting your wedding video; All videographers have a style of shooting. We are in the fortunate position of being able to adapt to the shooting requirements of our bride and groom. You will be able to see the quality of their work.
